VERSE: Matthew 6:33— “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Too often we worry about things that we have no business worrying about. In fact, the Bible tells us that we should never worry (Philippians 4:6). Worry steals our joy, stresses our lives, and has no positive results. Instead of fixing our minds on the things around us, the issues at hand, or the problems we face, we must focus on Jesus. We must train our minds to look to Him for our help and to trust Him completely. When we trust Jesus completely, we will find that we have peace, true joy, and everything we need. Unfortunately, many of us worry and in doing so step out on our own and don’t follow what Jesus would have us do. We must guard against these tendencies as they move us away from Jesus and the blessings, He has planned for us. As you face today, face it protected by Jesus, fully in His will and fully trusting Him to give you the victory. Jesus loves you. You are loved.
Prayer: Oh, LORD, train me to see You in all things. Help me to see You in the painful situations of my life. Help me to know that You are right in the midst taking care of me and providing for me. Increase my knowledge of You. Reveal Yourself to me. Help me to walk in your ways. Thank You, for loving me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
