Song: “Jesus Paid It All”
By Elvina M. Hall

I hear the Savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.”

Refrain:
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

For nothing good have I
Whereby Thy grace to claim;
I’ll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calv’ry’s Lamb.

Lord, now indeed I find
Thy pow’r, and Thine alone,
Can change the leper’s spots
And melt the heart of stone.

And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete,
I’ll lay my trophies down,
All down at Jesus’ feet.

VERSE:  Philippians 2:8–” And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”

The Bible tells us that we come into this world a sinner in need of a Savior.  It also tells us that there is only one Savior and His name is Jesus.  Many have claimed to be able to take away your sins and to help you get to heaven but there is only one who can.  That is Jesus!  Jesus, God’s only Son, left the splendor of heaven to walk among men but was without sin.  It was the shedding of His sinless, perfect blood that bought our salvation.  No one else could save us.  Oh, what love Jesus demonstrated to each of us as He hung on the cross.   He, who knew no sin, became sin for each of us.  He bore your sins in His body and on the cross of Calvary shed His blood to wash away your sins.  It wasn’t lack of power, or the force of the Roman soldiers that held Him on the cross. It was His love for you that held Him there.  His mission was to redeem fallen man and the only way He could do so was to die for our sins.  On that cross, Jesus paid a debt He didn’t owe because we owed a debt we couldn’t pay.  His death on the cross bought your salvation.  Repent today.  Ask Him to forgive your sins and believe in Jesus for the Savior He is. Remember, Jesus loves you.  You are loved!

Prayer:  Jesus, I come to you today thanking you for loving me.  Thank you for dying for my sins.  Forgive me of my sins and live in my heart.  Lord, teach me to walk in Your ways.  Help me to be a strong Christian for You.  Fill my heart with Your joy and my life with Your presence.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
