VERSE: Philippians 2:13 – “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.”
God has a plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11) and He doesn’t stop having a purpose for you as you age, change jobs, or enter different phases in your life. From the day you are born until the day you die, God has a plan for you and your life. Many people never fulfill their life’s purpose because they do not seek God’s direction in their life, or they determine they know best and simply go their own way. But this verse reminds us that God has a plan for our life and if we seek Him and listen to Him, He will direct our paths and enable us to act in a way that fulfills His good purpose in our life and to have a desire to do so. Regardless of your age or place in life, you must intentionally seek God for all things. Seek Him for your joy. Seek Him for your protection. Seek Him for your direction and seek Him for your satisfaction. Remember Jesus loves you. You are loved.
Prayer: Jesus, mold me and make me into exactly what You would have me to be. Give me complete direction on how to navigate my life and give me a desire to do Your will and to fulfill Your purpose in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
