1 Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;

Morning by morning new mercies I see:
all I have needed Thy hand hath provided–
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
2 Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
sun, moon, and stars in their courses above
join with all nature in manifold witness,
to Thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love. [Refrain]
3 Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide,
strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! [Refrain]
VERSE: I Corinthians 1:9 – “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”
God is faithful! We sing about it. We talk about it. People preach about it. But do we really realize in our hearts the vastness of this blessed truth? My guess is that for most of us we do not. If we truly understood that God was faithful, we would live much less stressed lives, would experience the peace that passes understanding and walk in joy unspeakable and full of glory. Perhaps, one reason we don’t comprehend the greatness of the amazing truth that God is faithful is because we fail to recognize His continual protection. “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him”….(II Chronicles 16:9). Today, trust in the faithfulness of God and allow Him to keep you in perfect peace. Remember, Jesus loves you. You are loved!
Prayer: Jesus speak to my heart today. Help me to see the evidence of You in my life. Teach me to feel Your presence as I meditate upon Your Word. Have the Holy Spirit swell within me, so I am overcome with Your presence in my life. Comfort me. Guide me. Give me the peace that only You can give. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
