II Peter 1:2-3, “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”

II Peter 1:2-3 lets us know that God is interested in every part of our lives down to the smallest increment of time.  God reveals through this passage that He has given us everything we need to live life to the fullest.  However, He wants to be involved in every detail.  He explains that it is through His divine power that works in us that we will have all the necessary information to live the life of glory and virtue that He has called us to live.  Remember, He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).  Having the knowledge of God rule our hearts and life will give us the abundant life He expects us to have.  “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11).  Jesus loves you!  You are loved.

Prayer:  Lord, fill my heart with Your presence and my mind with Your thoughts.  Live through me.   In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
