Song: “God Will Take Care of You”
Civilla Martin
Be not dismayed whate’er betide,
God will take care of you;
Beneath his wings of love abide,
God will take care of you.
Refrain:
God will take care of you,
Through ev’ry day,
O’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.
Through days of toil when heart does fail,
God will take care of you;
When dangers fierce your path assail,
Go will take care of you. [Refrain]
All you may need he will provide,
God will take care of you;
Nothing you ask will be denied,
God will take care of you. [Refrain]
No matter what may be the test,
God will take care of you;
Lean, weary one, upon his breast,
God will take care of you. [Refrain]
VERSE: Isaiah 43:2, “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”
Today you may be going through a trial that makes you feel as if you will never survive but hold fast to your faith. This trial is but an opportunity for the Lord to demonstrate His love, His protection and His mercy to you. Nothing is going to come your way today, tomorrow or any other day that God will not see you through. His love is endless. His power is matchless, and His grace is sufficient. Be of good cheer! The One you serve, the One you love and the One who loves you, has overcome the world (John 16:33). You are victorious over this trial and every trial that comes your way through Jesus, your Savior. Cling to your faith. Keep your eyes upon Jesus and wait on the Lord. God Has this under control. Jesus loves you. You are loved.
Prayer: Our kind and most gracious, all knowing and all-powerful God, thank you for caring for me. Thank you for being all I need in this trial and every trial. Thank you for knowing the way and leading me in the way. Lord thank you for Your blessings on me. I love you Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
*Sunday and Wednesday encouragements are written for our friends in Assisted Living, who we are unable to see regularly, due to COVID. We pray they are a blessing for you as well!
