Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;

Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;

Morning by morning new mercies I see:
all I have needed Thy hand hath provided–
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
sun, moon, and stars in their courses above
join with all nature in manifold witness
to Thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love. [Refrain]
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide,
strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! [Refrain]
VERSE: Isaiah 41:10, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
Many things come your way that cause you to doubt and to fear what lies ahead. But the Bible tells you that you do not need to fear. You are given, in the scriptures, the assurance that God is always with you and that He is your God. He is a personal God who will personally uphold you. He knows exactly what you need, when you need it and He will always supply what you need (Philippians 4:19). Knowing this gives you peace that allows you to know that God is in control and nothing will happen to you that He isn’t managing. You can live a joyous and victorious life because your God is with you every step of the way. He is upholding you in every trial, situation and circumstance. As the psalmist David said in I Samuel 18:17, “the battle is the Lord’s.” Give it to Him! Jesus loves you. You are loved.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for being my God. Thank you for your provisions for my life and the blessings that you bestow upon me every day. Lord, help me to seek you more and to trust you more. Teach me to live in your peace and to use Your wisdom in every situation and circumstance. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
