“We love Him, because He first loved us.”
God loves us so much! That is the understatement of all understatements! Can you imagine that God – who created the entire world in all its beauty – loves us more than that we could ever dream of?! Not to mention that He has loved us since the beginning of time?! He knew what we would look like, how we would sound, what our personalities would turn out to be, the career path we would take, the good and poor choices we continue to make….everything about us and YET God still loved us first and continues to love us unconditionally in spite of all that we are. That last part of that sentence – in spite of all we are – just amazes me because it is true! How could we not love Him just for that alone? God loves us to pieces, and we should demonstrate our love to Him in everything we do! We need to worship Him all day, sing praises to His name in song and in our conversations. We need to read His Word and pray to Him. We need to be His hands and feet extended in the service we do to show others just how much He loves each of us! GOD LOVES US!
