God is Faithful!

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the   fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord (1 Corinthians   1:9).

God is faithful!  We sing about   it.  We talk about it.  People preach about it.  But, do we really realize in our hearts the   breadth and depth of this blessed truth?    My guess is that for most of us we do not.  If we truly understood that God was faithful   we would live much less stressed lives, would experience the peace that passes   understanding and walk in joy unspeakable and full of glory. Perhaps, one reason we don’t comprehend the greatness of   the amazing truth that God is faithful is because we fail to recognize God’s   handy work in our lives.  We become so   full of ourselves that we neglect to give God the praise and glory He so richly   deserves.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down   from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of   turning” (James 1:17).

Perhaps, another reason we don’t comprehend the greatness of the amazing   truth that God is faithful is because we fail to see His daily provisions He   gives us.

But   my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ   Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).

Perhaps, another reason we don’t comprehend the greatness of the amazing   truth that God is faithful is because we fail to recognize His continual   protection.

For   the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself   strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him”….(II   Chronicles 16:9).

Perhaps, another reason we don’t comprehend the greatness   of the amazing truth that God is faithful is because we fail to recognize who He   is.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man   cometh unto the Father, but by Me” (John 14:6).

The   thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that   they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John   10:10).

As   thou hast given Him power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as   many as thou hast given Him. And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee   the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent” (John   17:2-3).

These are but a few of the many ways we fail to recognize that God is   faithful.  But just as He said and true   to His form, though we neglect Him daily, He will always be faithful. So, “Let your conversation be without   covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I   will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5).
